Ministry of I&B’s WaveX Signs MoU with FITT-IIT Delhi to Boost Innovation in Broadcasting & Entertainment

• WaveX, the startup accelerator under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB), signed an MoU with the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT Delhi, to drive innovation in media, entertainment, broadcasting and communication technologies.
• Anchors India's push to build a media-tech entrepreneurship ecosystem linked to the WAVES (World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit) vision of a USD 50 billion M&E market by 2029.
• Examinable as a GS-III (Science & Tech, IT, Economy) and GS-II (Government Schemes) topic — combines start-up policy, AVGC-XR sector, and PPP-style academia–government collaboration.
