Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal to Visit Brussels for Crucial India-EU FTA Talks

• Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Commerce & Industry, undertook a two-day visit to Brussels (8-9 January 2026) to push the India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA) toward conclusion.
• The FTA, re-launched in June 2022 after a 9-year hiatus, is India's most ambitious trade negotiation, covering goods, services, investment and Geographical Indications (GIs).
