ECI to host the India International Conference on Democracy and Election Management- 2026 from January 21-23

• IICDEM 2026 is the inaugural India International Conference on Democracy and Election Management, hosted by the Election Commission of India (ECI) at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, 21–23 January 2026.
• Organised by IIIDEM (India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management) under ECI; positioned as the largest global conference of its kind hosted by India on elections/democracy.
• Relevant to UPSC as a marker of India's election diplomacy, the constitutional role of ECI, and emerging governance tech (ECINET).
