Five key sewerage infrastructure projects made operational for Ganga and Yamuna in Namami Gange Mission Phase II

• Namami Gange Mission-II operationalised 5 sewerage infrastructure projects in Q3 FY 2025-26 across the Ganga and Yamuna basins, taking cumulative commissioned STP capacity to 3,976 MLD and total STPs to 173.
• Implemented by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) under the Ministry of Jal Shakti; UPSC-relevant for GS-III (Environment, Pollution Abatement) and GS-II (Centrally Sponsored Schemes).
