National-Level Workshop in Udaipur Reviews Cooperative Reforms under “Sahkar se Samriddhi” Vision

• Two-day national-level workshop & review meeting on strengthening the cooperative sector held in Udaipur, Rajasthan, 8–9 January 2026, chaired by Union Home & Cooperation Minister Amit Shah.
• Operationalises PM Modi's "Sahkar se Samriddhi" vision — cooperatives as a vehicle for inclusive growth, rural prosperity and grassroots empowerment.
• Focus areas: PACS strengthening, cooperative banking, MSCS reforms, National Cooperative Database (NCD), and grain-storage cooperatives.
• Tests knowledge of the Ministry of Cooperation (created 6 July 2021) — a high-yield GS-II/GS-III area for 2026.
