Union Minister for Communications inaugurates 6 renovated and modernised Post Offices in Madhya Pradesh; announces ₹111-crore National Postal Training Centre at Shivpuri

• On 8–11 January 2026, Union Minister for Communications & DoNER Jyotiraditya M. Scindia inaugurated 6 renovated Sub/City Post Offices in Madhya Pradesh and announced a new National Postal Training Centre (NPTC) at Shivpuri costing ₹111 crore.
• Marks the 7th NPTC in India — adding Shivpuri to Saharanpur, Vadodara, Mysuru, Guwahati, Madurai, Darbhanga.
• Sits within the wider India Post IT 2.0 / Advanced Postal Technology modernisation push (~₹5,800 cr outlay).
• Examinable as a Governance / Service Delivery + Postal Reform capsule for Prelims & GS-II/III.
