Meeting of 16th ADMM-Plus EWG on Counter Terrorism & Final Planning Conference for Table Top Exercise to be held in New Delhi

• ADMM-Plus is the highest defence consultative & cooperative mechanism between the 10 ASEAN states + 8 Dialogue Partners (including India), operating through seven Experts' Working Groups (EWGs).
• India and Malaysia are co-chairing the EWG on Counter-Terrorism (CT) for the 2024–2027 cycle; the 16th meeting + Final Planning Conference (FPC) for a Table Top Exercise (TTX) is being hosted in New Delhi, 14–16 January 2026.
• UPSC relevance: intersects GS-II (groupings involving India) and GS-III (internal security, terrorism, Indo-Pacific defence diplomacy).
