PRIME MINISTER NARENDRA MODI TO INAUGURATE 28th CSPOC IN NEW DELHI
- CSPOC = Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth — a non-political forum of Commonwealth Parliaments' presiding officers, established 1969 on the initiative of Canadian House of Commons Speaker Lucien Lamoureux.
- India hosted the 28th edition in New Delhi, 14–16 January 2026, inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi at the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan on 15 January 2026.
- Significant for UPSC under parliamentary diplomacy, Commonwealth institutions, and the role of the Speaker in democratic governance.
