• India hosted the 28th edition at Samvidhan Sadan (old Parliament), New Delhi, 14–16 January 2026, inaugurated by PM Modi on 15 Jan 2026.
• Significance for UPSC: tests parliamentary diplomacy, Commonwealth institutions, soft power, and the Speaker's office — overlap of GS-II (Polity + IR).
