India and Israel signed a Joint Ministerial Declaration of Intent to strengthen collaboration in the fisheries and aquaculture

• Joint Ministerial Declaration of Intent (JDoI) signed at Eilat, Israel on the sidelines of the Second Global Summit on "Blue Food Security: Sea the Future 2026" to deepen India–Israel cooperation in fisheries and aquaculture.
• Signed by Union Minister Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying; Panchayati Raj) during a state visit, 13–15 January 2026.
• Adds a Blue Economy pillar to the existing Indo-Israel cooperation template that previously focused on agriculture, water and defence — relevant for GS-II (IR) and GS-III (economy/food security).
