28th Commonwealth Speakers’ Conference Strengthening Parliamentary Dialogue
- CSPOC = biennial-style high-level forum of Speakers and Presiding Officers of Commonwealth legislatures, established 1969, deliberating on the role of parliaments in democratic governance.
- The 28th edition was hosted by India in New Delhi (14–16 January 2026), chaired by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, with PM Modi inaugurating it on 15 January at the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan.
- Relevant for UPSC under GS-II (Parliament, Indian Constitution, International institutions) and as a marker of India's Commonwealth/parliamentary diplomacy.
