Department of Posts revamps its ATM infrastructure with activation of 887 ATMs across India
- Department of Posts (DoP), under Ministry of Communications, has revamped its ATM network with 887 ATMs activated across India, located at post offices.
- Aim: deepen financial inclusion in rural/underserved areas via doorstep access to cash withdrawal, balance enquiry and basic banking.
