MoPNG Organises High-Level Upstream Engagements on Financing, Regulatory Reforms and Promotion of New Exploration Bid Rounds
- MoPNG convened a one-day upstream-focused engagement in Mumbai on 19 January 2026 with operators, E&P service providers, consultants, financiers, insurers and academia to push India's exploration & production (E&P) reform agenda.
- Anchored around three pillars: financing for E&P, regulatory reforms (amended Oilfields Act, revised PNG Rules, updated MRSC) and promotion of new bid rounds (OALP-X, DSF-IV, CBM 2025–26).
