Republic Day 2026: DRDO to showcase its path-breaking innovations at Kartavya Path & Bharat Parv

• DRDO (Defence Research & Development Organisation, under Ministry of Defence) is the lead military R&D agency showcasing its flagship indigenous systems during the 77th Republic Day Parade, 26 January 2026 at Kartavya Path and at Bharat Parv (Red Fort, 26–31 Jan 2026).
• Headline systems: Long Range Anti-Ship Hypersonic Missile (LR-AShM) with launcher (parade) and a tableau themed "Naval Technologies for Combat Submarines" (Bharat Parv).
• For UPSC: directly relevant to GS-III Defence Tech, Indigenisation, Aatmanirbhar Bharat in Defence and Prelims sci-tech.
