CDS releases Military Quantum Mission Policy Framework

• Military Quantum Mission Policy Framework (MQMPF) is a tri-service policy + roadmap document released by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) to integrate quantum technologies across the Indian Armed Forces.
• Built around four pillars: Quantum Communication, Quantum Computing, Quantum Sensing & Metrology, and Quantum Materials & Devices.
• Explicitly aligned with the National Quantum Mission (NQM) approved by the Union Cabinet on 19 April 2023 with an outlay of ₹6003.65 crore (2023–24 to 2030–31).
• Examinable as a convergence point of defence reforms (CDS/DMA), emerging tech, and Atmanirbharta in defence.
