Cashless Treatment to Road Accident Victims
- Statutory cashless treatment scheme for road accident victims notified under Section 162 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, operationalising a long-pending legal mandate inserted by the MV (Amendment) Act, 2019.
- Provides up to ₹1.5 lakh per victim for treatment for up to 7 days from the date of accident at designated hospitals.
- Subsequently rebranded as PM-RAHAT (PM – Road Accident Victims' Hospitalisation and Assured Treatment) Scheme, launched 13.02.2026.
- Tests aspirants on MV Act amendments, golden-hour jurisprudence, NHA's role beyond Ayushman Bharat, and Centre–State implementation of road safety.
