All India Workshop of Trainers (AIWOT) for National Household Income Survey (NHIS) and Annual Survey of Incorporated Services Sector Enterprises (ASISSE) conducted by NSO (FOD) on 28th and 29th January 2026 at Chennai.

• AIWOT = All India Workshop of Trainers, a two-day master-trainer event held at Le Royal Meridien, Chennai on 28-29 January 2026 by the Field Operations Division (FOD), National Statistical Office (NSO), MoSPI.
• Purpose: train master trainers to cascade field training for two flagship surveys to be launched from April 2026 — NHIS (first-ever household income survey) and ASISSE (first-ever annual services-sector enterprise survey).
• For UPSC: addresses long-standing household income and services-sector data gaps, strengthens GDP/GVA estimation, and is part of MoSPI's statistical reform pipeline.
