Ministry of Minority Affairs launches two additional modules, named Survey Module and Waqf Property Lease Module on the UMEED Central Portal

• UMEED = Unified Waqf Management, Empowerment, Efficiency and Development — a centralised digital portal of the Ministry of Minority Affairs for real-time uploading, verification, and monitoring of Waqf properties.
• On 30 January 2026, two new modules — Survey Module and Waqf Property Lease Module — were added to the portal.
• Relevance: tests aspirant knowledge of the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025, e-governance over religious endowments, and centre-state administration of minority welfare (GS-II).
