• Biopharma SHAKTI = Strategy for Healthcare Advancement through Knowledge, Technology & Innovation — a ₹10,000-crore scheme announced in the Union Budget 2026–27 to make India a global biomanufacturing hub.
• Pushes India "beyond conventional pharma" into the next industrial phase (biologics, biosimilars, precision biotherapeutics) and complements the BioE3 Policy, 2024.
• Announced by MoS (IC) Science & Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh; rides alongside Budget 2026-27 announcements on four mega-telescope facilities, ₹20,000-crore carbon-capture support, SHANTI Act nuclear duty alignment, and National Geospatial Mission.
