RIVER REJUVENATION AND POLLUTION ABATEMENT

• River rejuvenation in India is delivered through two parallel central schemes: Namami Gange (Ganga basin) and the National River Conservation Plan (NRCP) (non-Ganga rivers), both under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation (DoWR, RD&GR).
