Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs unveiled upgraded version of National Youth Parliament Scheme web portal

• NYPS 2.0 is the upgraded web portal of the National Youth Parliament Scheme, run by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs (MoPA), that opens Youth Parliament participation to institutions, groups and individual citizens beyond just recognised educational institutions.
• Significance for UPSC: links to parliamentary procedure, democratic socialisation of youth, GS-II governance & polity, and the historical evolution of citizen-engagement schemes since 1966.
