Technology Advisory Group (TAG) of Empowered Technology Group (ETG) meets to discuss Strategic Roadmap for Robotics in India

• Third meeting of the Technology Advisory Group (TAG) of the Empowered Technology Group (ETG) held on 3 February 2026, chaired by Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) to GoI, to map India's robotics ecosystem and chart a strategic roadmap.
• Signals the operationalisation of the National Strategy on Robotics (NSR) drafted by MeitY (2023) through a high-level inter-ministerial advisory mechanism under the Office of PSA.
• Examinable for GS-III (Sci-Tech, Indigenisation, Industry 4.0) and GS-II (Institutions / Governance bodies).
