Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs unveiled an upgraded version of NYPS web portal

• NYPS 2.0 is the upgraded web portal of the National Youth Parliament Scheme, run by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs (MoPA), that opens Youth Parliament participation to all citizens — not just recognised educational institutions.
• Aim: strengthen democratic roots, familiarise citizens (especially youth) with parliamentary procedure, Constitutional values, and government functioning.
• UPSC relevance: a Polity + Governance scheme question — ministry, year, portal address, and three participation modes are highly examinable.
