Two lakh Anganwadi Centres located in Government buildings @ 40,000 AWCs per year are strengthened as Saksham Anganwadis under Mission Poshan 2.0

• Saksham Anganwadi is an upgraded category of Anganwadi Centre (AWC) under Mission Saksham Anganwadi & Poshan 2.0, the umbrella Integrated Nutrition Support Programme of the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD).
• Target: convert 2 lakh AWCs in Government buildings into Saksham Anganwadis @ 40,000 per year over the 15th Finance Commission cycle (2021–26).
• Examinable because it bundles ECCE + nutrition + tech governance (Poshan Tracker) under one umbrella scheme — a frequent GS-II welfare-scheme target.
