Launch of nationwide pulses revolution from Amlaha in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh under the chairmanship of Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan
- Nationwide Pulses Revolution was launched from the Food Legumes Research Platform (FLRP), Amlaha, Sehore (MP) under Union Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, finalising the roadmap for the Mission for Aatmanirbharta in Pulses.
- The Mission is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme with an outlay of ₹11,440 crore for 2025-26 to 2030-31, focused on Tur (Arhar), Urad and Masoor — the three pulses where India's import dependence is highest.
- Aspirants must connect this with Budget 2025-26, the National Food Security Mission (NFSM), MSP procurement architecture (NAFED/NCCF), and India's status as the world's largest producer-consumer-importer of pulses.
