EXTENSION OF REGISTRATION FOR PLI SCHEME

• PLI Scheme for Textiles is a Central Sector Scheme of the Ministry of Textiles to scale up manufacturing of MMF (Man-Made Fibre) Apparel, MMF Fabrics, and Technical Textiles with a budget outlay of ₹10,683 crore.
• October 2025 amendment + extended registration window (now till 31.03.2026) make the scheme MSME-friendly by halving investment thresholds and broadening the product basket.
• Relevant for UPSC under GS-III Industrial Policy, MSME promotion, and Atmanirbhar Bharat push in textiles.
