Implementation of PM-JANMAN Scheme

• PM-JANMAN (Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan) is a centrally-coordinated mission for socio-economic development of 75 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) spanning 18 States + 1 UT.
• Outlay ₹24,104 cr (Centre ₹15,336 cr + State ₹8,768 cr) delivered via 11 interventions through 9 line Ministries, anchored in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
• Examinable as a flagship convergence scheme for vulnerable groups (GS-I society; GS-II vulnerable sections, schemes; GS-III inclusive growth).
