Various initiatives undertaken to incentivize and encourage Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers

• Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWHs) are honorary community workers delivering the six-service package under Mission Saksham Anganwadi & Poshan 2.0 of the Ministry of Women & Child Development (MWCD).
• They are NOT regular government employees — incentives = central honorarium + performance-linked incentive + state top-up + social-security/insurance + tech tools.
• Examinable from both a welfare-scheme angle (GS-II) and a nutrition/governance/Poshan Tracker angle (GS-II/III).
