Ayushman sahakar scheme

• Ayushman Sahakar is a National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) scheme to channel term loans up to ₹10,000 crore to cooperatives for building healthcare infrastructure (hospitals, medical/AYUSH colleges, etc.).
• It operationalises the cooperative pillar of the National Health Policy — community-owned hospitals, AYUSH facilities, and medical education run by registered cooperative societies.
• UPSC relevance: intersects GS-II (health, cooperatives, government schemes) and GS-III (financial inclusion, rural infrastructure); commonly tested for ministry/agency confusion (NCDC vs MoHFW).
