Safeguarding Women at Work

• Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (SH Act) is the statutory framework providing safe working environments for women across organised/unorganised, public/private sectors, including domestic workers.
• SHe-Box (Sexual Harassment electronic Box) is a single-window online complaint portal launched 29 August 2024 by the Ministry of Women & Child Development (MoWCD).
• Examinable as a GS-II governance/women-rights topic and as a GS-I society question on workplace gender equity.
