- DIP is a secure online platform built by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) under the Ministry of Communications for bidirectional information sharing among stakeholders (LEAs, banks, TSPs, UPI operators) to curb misuse of telecom resources in cybercrime and financial fraud.
- Operates in tandem with the Sanchar Saathi citizen-portal/app, Chakshu reporting facility, and the Financial Fraud Risk Indicator (FRI) — together forming India's anti-telecom-fraud stack.
