Vidyanjali onboards over 8.5 lakh schools and 5 lakh volunteers, informs Shri Jayant Chaudhary in Rajya Sabha

• Vidyanjali is a school volunteer management programme of the Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSEL), Ministry of Education, connecting volunteers, alumni, CSR donors and institutions with Government & Government-aided schools.
• Aligned with NEP 2020, it operationalises community participation in schools through an online portal hosted on MyGov.
• Relevant for UPSC as a flagship education-sector PPP/community-participation scheme cited in GS-II (governance, education) and GS-I (society).
