• 12 greenfield industrial smart cities/nodes approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) in August 2024 under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme (NICDP), with outlay of ₹28,602 crore for trunk infrastructure.
• Programme spans 10 states along 6 major industrial corridors, designed as plug-and-play, ICT-enabled, sustainable manufacturing hubs to catalyse $2 trillion exports by 2030.
• Implementing ministry: Ministry of Commerce & Industry (DPIIT) via National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC).
