C-DOT Signs an Agreement with Synergy Quantum to Develop Automated Tool for Quantum-Vulnerable Crypto Algorithm Discovery
- C-DOT, the R&D arm of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications, has partnered with Synergy Quantum India Pvt. Ltd. to co-develop an automated tool to detect, classify and report quantum-vulnerable cryptographic algorithms in target devices.
- The deal is part of India's broader pivot to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) ahead of the "Q-Day" threat, when fault-tolerant quantum computers could break RSA / ECC / Diffie-Hellman based classical encryption.
