- Greenfield 4-lane access-controlled corridor Gohpur (NH-15) — Numaligarh (NH-715) of total length 33.7 km, including a 15.79 km Road-cum-Rail tunnel beneath the Brahmaputra.
- Strategic relevance: cuts Numaligarh–Gohpur travel from 240 km / 6 hrs to ~33.7 km, bypassing Kaziranga NP, improving northern bank–southern bank connectivity in Assam, with logistics/defence value for the Northeast.
- Examinable as an infrastructure + environment + federal/strategic case study.
