- Access Pass is a free, online authorisation enabling Indian fishing vessels to operate in the Exclusive Economic Zone (12–200 nm) beyond the current 40–50 nm coastal range.
- Issued by the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying (MoFAHD) through the ReALCRaft portal.
- Aims to unlock under-utilised tuna and tuna-like oceanic resources, boost seafood exports, and empower fisheries cooperatives/FFPOs.
