For Strengthening India’s Pharmaceutical Ecosystem, NIPER-Boehringer MoU for Education and Research & AMRITVA Cohort 2 Unveiled

• NIPER Raebareli signed an MoU with Boehringer Ingelheim India Pvt. Ltd. to advance pharmaceutical education and research, alongside the unveiling of AMRITVA Cohort 2 under the Department of Pharmaceuticals.
• AMRITVA = Alliance for Medicinal Research, Innovation, Translation & Value Acceleration — a CSR-backed translational-research grant programme run jointly by NIPER Raebareli and SIIC, IIT Kanpur.
• Relevant for UPSC under GS-III (Science & Tech, Indigenisation, IPR) and GS-II (Health/Governance) — illustrates public-private-academia model for pharma innovation.
