PM to visit Gujarat on 28th February

• Micron's Semiconductor Assembly, Test and Packaging (ATMP) unit at Sanand, Gujarat — India's first operational semiconductor unit under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM).
• Marks commencement of commercial production and shipment of the first Made-in-India semiconductor memory modules (DRAM/NAND).
• For UPSC: directly examinable on GS-III (industrial policy, electronics manufacturing, S&T) and as a flagship outcome of the Semicon India Programme under MeitY.
