India and Finland renew MoU on Environmental Cooperation
- Bilateral MoU between India's Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) and Finland's Ministry of the Environment, originally signed in 2020 and renewed in March 2026.
- Covers pollution control, waste management, circular economy, climate action, forests and natural resource management.
- Renewal coincided with the State Visit of Finnish President Alexander Stubb (4–7 March 2026) during which both sides agreed to elevate ties to a Strategic Partnership in Digitalization and Sustainability.
