• Union Home & Cooperation Minister Amit Shah dedicated IFFCO's Sulphuric Acid Plant (SAP-III) at Paradip, Odisha on 6 March 2026, alongside a basket of cooperative/dairy projects.
• Combined package: 69 projects worth ₹1,159.03 crore inaugurated and 130 projects worth ₹2,116.06 crore foundation-stoned in Bhubaneswar.
• Flagship outcome — IFFCO becomes self-reliant in sulphuric acid, a critical intermediate for DAP and complex fertilizers; capacity at Paradip raised from 7.5 LMT (2005) to 22 LMT.
• Examinable as a convergence of "Sahkar se Samriddhi" vision, fertilizer self-sufficiency, and cooperative federalism in Odisha.
