EASE 8.0 Reform Agenda Advances Transformation of Public Sector Banks

• EASE = Enhanced Access and Service Excellence, the common reform agenda for Public Sector Banks (PSBs) anchored by the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance in collaboration with Indian Banks' Association (IBA).
• EASE 8.0, branded "EASERise" for FY2025-26, is the eighth iteration; it pivots PSB reform toward Gen-AI / Agentic AI adoption, digital lending, inclusive banking and operational excellence.
