New National Cooperative Policy
- National Cooperation Policy (NCP) 2025 is the second-ever national policy on cooperatives, replacing the National Policy on Cooperatives, 2002 after 23 years.
- Provides a 10-year roadmap for the cooperative sector built on 6 strategic pillars, 16 objectives, and 83 recommendations to operationalise the motto "Sahkar se Samriddhi".
- Anchored by the Ministry of Cooperation (created 6 July 2021), it seeks Centre–State convergence by nudging States to (re)formulate their own cooperative policies.
