EMPLOYMENT GUARANTEE UNDER VB-G-RAM-G

• VB-G-RAM-G = Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act, 2025; the statutory successor to MGNREGA, 2005, with an enhanced 125-day wage employment guarantee to rural households.
• Anchors the rural development framework to Viksit Bharat @2047, with thematic emphasis on water security and the creation of a Viksit Bharat National Rural Infrastructure Stack.
• Administered by the Ministry of Rural Development; commenced across rural India from 1 July 2026, repealing MGNREGA on the same date.
