Union Minister of Textiles releases Report on Mapping of Textile Waste Value Chain in India

• First comprehensive national assessment of textile waste generation, recovery and recycling across India's value chain, released by the Ministry of Textiles.
• Establishes baseline data: 70.73 lakh tonnes/year of textile waste, >70% already recovered, and a roadmap for circular textile economy.
