E-COURTS MISSION MODE PROJECT

• eCourts Mission Mode Project (MMP) is a Central Sector Scheme under the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, implemented jointly with the eCommittee of the Supreme Court of India, to ICT-enable the Indian judiciary.
• It is one of the Mission Mode Projects under the Digital India / National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) umbrella.
• Relevant for UPSC under GS-II (Governance, e-Governance, Judiciary) and GS-III (Science & Tech, Digital infrastructure).
