Progress of PM-DevINE scheme

• PM-DevINE = Prime Minister's Development Initiative for North East Region; a 100% Central Sector Scheme under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) funding infrastructure, social and livelihood projects in the 8 NE States.
• Outlay ₹6,600 crore over 4 years (FY 2022-23 to FY 2025-26), co-terminus with the 15th Finance Commission cycle.
• Relevant for GS-II (Government Schemes, Centre-State, Regional Development) and GS-III (Infrastructure, Inclusive Growth); flagship instrument to plug "felt-need" development gaps in NER.
