Adi-Vaani, AI-Driven Platform for Tribal Language

• Adi-Vaani is India's first AI-powered translation, documentation and digitalisation platform for tribal (Scheduled Tribe) languages, developed under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA).
• Built as a text-to-text, text-to-speech and OCR tool, with the long-term aim of evolving into a Large Language Model (LLM) for tribal languages.
• Relevance for UPSC: intersection of GS-I (tribal society, languages), GS-II (welfare of STs, governance), and GS-III (Indigenous AI / Bhashini-type tech missions).
