• First-of-its-kind National Conference on Cold Water Fisheries organized by the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying (MoFAHD) at Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar on 14 March 2026.
• Platform for releasing the "Model Guidelines for the Development of Cold-Water Fisheries" — a new national framework targeting Himalayan, NE and peninsular highland fisheries.
• Relevant to UPSC for Blue Economy, PMMSY, federal cooperation with J&K/Ladakh/UTs, and climate-sensitive aquaculture.
