1,03,940 Anganwadi Centres upgraded so far into Saksham Anganwadi Centres under Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 scheme

• Saksham Anganwadi & Poshan 2.0 is an Integrated Nutrition Support Programme launched in FY 2021-22 by merging ICDS, POSHAN Abhiyaan and Scheme for Adolescent Girls under the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD).
• Aims to upgrade traditional Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) into Saksham AWCs with modern infrastructure for nutrition delivery + Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE).
• 1,03,940 AWCs upgraded into Saksham AWCs as of March 2026 — a key Prelims-grade datapoint.
