Various schemes implemented by the Ministry of Women & Child Development for nutrition, safety and welfare of women and children all over the country

• The Ministry of Women & Child Development (MWCD) has rationalised all its schemes into three Umbrella Missions: Mission Saksham Anganwadi & Poshan 2.0, Mission Shakti, and Mission Vatsalya.
• Together they address the lifecycle continuum — nutrition (children, adolescent girls, pregnant/lactating women), safety/empowerment of women, and protection/care of children in difficult circumstances.
